IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
Applications are sought for the position of IT Systems Administrator,
Good Shepherd Cork (GSC). GSC is an independent, Cork-based charity
providing a range of residential and outreach services for women,
children and families who are homeless or vulnerable to homelessness.
Due to the growth in the organisation GSC wish to recruit an
experienced IT Systems Administrator to support the wider GSC team to
achieve the aims of the charity. This is an exciting opportunity to
contribute to the mission of GSC and support vulnerable women,
children and families during a housing crisis. The role is a full-time
permanent position with Good Shepherd Cork. (Applications can be
considered from candidates available on a parttime basis.)
REPORTING TO THE GSC FINANCE AND BUSINESS SUPPORT MANAGER KEY TASKS
INCLUDE:
* Co-ordinating GSC’s management of its IT Infrastructure
* Managing system security and access permissions for new or
existing users and deleting leavers, as required
* Providing front-line primary technical support to staff and
managers
* Liaising with (outsourced) IT provider as required
* Managing IT hardware
* Supporting end-user queries, visiting sites as required and
delivering training to new and existing users on GSC’s IT and CRM
systems
* Running reports on GSC’s CRM system and monitoring and reporting
on data quality and system usage
* Analysing and interpreting data to inform quality service delivery
* Working with GSC Managers to ensure data collected meets the
different services needs
* Monitoring to ensure GSC data management is in line with GDPR
requirements
* Conducting an annual system update and as appropriate activating
any new features
* Liaising with the external partner for GSC’s CRM system as
required
* Maintaining GSCs website
* Evaluating new hardware and cloud based systems to support the
organisation
REQUIREMENTS
* A degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related
disciplines
* Excellent technical skills, IT literacy and attention to detail
* 2+ years relevant experience supporting an organisations IT and
CRM systems
* Strong conceptual understanding of data structures and CRM system
configurations
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the
ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences
* Highly proficient in spoken and written English
* Excellent problem-solving, listening and questioning skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to connect with system
users in a wide variety of roles and with varied technical skills
* Highly organised, with ability to handle multiple tasks
* An interest in and commitment to the ethos and work of Good
Shepherd Cork.
